If you have doubts about your future, lack focus and motivation or feel uncertain about your goals, it might be time for some coaching.


Planning your future

Here are just a few ways you can make your goals achievable and enjoy the process:

- When thinking about your future create a time and space to dedicate to focusing and contemplating, free of distractions and disturbances.

- If you have already decided what you nolonger want in your life, ask yourself what you want instead.

- Use your senses to imagine a future for yourself - see it, feel it, hear it.

- Don't immediately concern yourself with the steps to get there. Just start with where you want to get.

- Then imagine yourself already there in the future looking back at the steps you took to get there.


Overcoming obstacles

If, after working out your goals, you are experiencing obstacles consider these things:

- Examine your beliefs. Do you need to challenge some limiting beliefs? Do you need to nurture some more constructive beliefs?

- How are you motivating yourself?

- Would it help if your goals became projects?

- Approach your goals with the attitude "There is no such thing as failure. It's all just feedback."
